Detail :	\n When the crew discovers that the Scimitar is <a href="http://www.wheeledcarryonluggage.net" alt="Wheeled Carry On Luggage" target="_blank">carry</a>ing thaleron radiation, Dr Crusher explains that it is lethal, destroying organic matter at the subatomic level. At the subatomic level there is no distinction between organic and inorganic matter: it's all made of the same stuff (protons, electrons, neutrons, etc.).

Detail :	There are so many ways to destroy Organic matter at a (sub)atomic level with radiation... There are types of radiation that attack the Sulfur Bridges of the body, thus destroying all proteins, rendering them, in their Entirity, useless.. Radiation with the same frequency also targets Phosphorus, C-C bonds and O-H bonds.. namely Phosphates.. Bye bye, DNA and RNA... Bye bye, ATP.. and Bye bye, Cell interaction.. No more Sodium/Potassium transport.. No more differring potentials between the inner and outer of cells, therefore no more nerve impulses..No coding, no energy, no superficial proteins for Ion transfer between cells.... Then you have a body with no useful proteins (therefore no haemoglobin), so no oxygen transfers... If this hypothetic thalaron radiation is so powerful, It could just as well be able to do all these things in a moment's notice.. Trust me, they won't survive..
