Detail : I think, but I am not sure, if they did this for sure. When Buckwheat and the little kid get to the stands for the big race, they see Buckwheat's mom. Buckwheat waves and she waves <a href="http://www.bodybackmassager.com" alt="Back Massager" target="_blank">back</a>. The other kid sarcastically mutters "Whoopi...". The actress playing his mom is, yes, Whoopi Goldberg

And this is a nitpick how? I'm sure that anyone with a shred of intelligence knows that Whoopi Goldberg played Buckwheat's mother in the film. Perhaps you should look at the definition of the word "Nitpick" on the homepage of the site again. This is a nitpick site, not a trivia sourcebook.
