Summary :	Computer generated natural effects: lens flares.
Detail :	Aren't lens flares only caused by light hitting glass?\n In the Darth Maul fight scene there is an unnecessary lens flare (comp generated)\n and when Obi-wan and Qui-gon are in the council building there's an awful \n big green octogon going across the screen.\n \n \n \n \n

Detail :	Have to agree with you both. I hate lens flare as well - mainly because all it does is remind us that there's someone filming the scene, and it's not real. Genuine lens flare doesn't have to be added afterwards, rather it should be removed because it's so annoying. I guess the guys at special effects wanted to show us their skills 8-).
