Changing clothes

I know she was in a hurry but she could have changed clothes... She had her bathing suit on in order to swim at the beach and the bikini could have been a uniform to the hula class so she should have changed.

Obvious, isn't it?

What I'm about to say is probably pretty obvious to just about everyone. When Lilo joins the other dancers, all the other kids have the same top, not necessarily a bikini top either, probably just a simple tube top-like garment. (If you've been to Hawaii and seen a hula dance, you'll know what I'm trying to explain.) She probably just changed from her swin suit to her hula outfit sometime along her way to the rehearsal.

If you watch the dance scene again, you'll see that all the children are wearing the same top. And it probably isn't even a bikini top. If you've been to Hawaii and seen a Hula show or dance, they don't wear bikini tops when they perform, it's more of a tube top-like garment. I agree with the original nitpick.

She has a one piece suit on, then puts the grass skirt on over that. So how does she get the bathing suit off in order to put a bikini on?

Nitpick should stand; the comments are irrelivant

Lilo runs up to her dance class and she is shown putting a grass skirt over her one-piece swimsuit. She puts on her anklet (still wearing the one-piece under the skirt) and she enters through the back door (still in her one-piece w/the grass skirt over it). Then TWO seconds later (along with the beat/flow of the music -UNPAUSED), she has her tube top on. So how could she have changed out of her one-piece from under her grass skirt into a tube in two seconds while the music continued?

First three comments are wrong

The nitpick is stated as valid, because while the music continued in the class without a pause, it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to change out of a swimsuit into a tube top from under a grass skirt after entering the stage door in two or three seconds to join the class. Anyone who agrees that this nitpick should be de-refuted (taken out of refuted) and stand as legit, please say 'I'.

Because for the first three so-called 'obvious' comments, they're saying that Lilo had put on a grass skirt over her one-piece swimsuit while running up from the beach to join her dance class. But we're talking about AFTER she enters the stage door and has still has her swimsuit on under the skirt and then a few seconds later she has her tube on. So yes I agree to validate this true nitpick.

Nitpick shouldn't be refuted

She put on her grass skirt on top her one piece bathing suit. When she got to class, she had the tube top thing.

this is a disney movie, i dont think they are going to show lilo changing into her hula outfit.
