Summary : Scream Video in 'Scream'! Could it be? (Refuted)

i was very intrigued by this nitpick so i watched the movie on dvd and watched it frame-by-frame and i saw that while the video box in the background has an S on the side, it does not say Scream and it's not the color of the real box.

what does it matter?

Scream is not intended to be a true horror movie. The beauty of it is that it mocks other horror films. If the video box were behind Randy (which it isn't) it would be meant as a joke. Don't take these things too seriously. It's like watching a Mel Brooks movie and saying something doesn't make sense.

Doesn't say scream....

The white box says SMOKE not SCREAM. And its not on the shelf its on top of the T.V.

The video behind Randy, and on top of the TV is the brilliant film clerks which is Kevin Smiths first movie. He also wrote/directed Mallrats,Chasing Amy and Dogma and plays silentBob in all of em'. There is also a Clerks video behind Stu in the video libary when he is talking to Randy. The extra kool thing to this is that Kevin Smith is in scream three for about five seconds...Jay and Silentbob are waiting in line for a studio tour and call Gail Weathers Connie Chong.
