In the descripition and throughout the movie, it is said that the Antonia Graza is a ship of the Italian line. Though the ship looks exactly like the Andrea Doria and Cristoforo Columbo of the Italian line, the funnel (smokestack) colors aren't the ones used by the Italian line. The Italian line's colors were Red, Green Stripe, and white. Also, the Andrea Doria and Cristoforo Columbo had air-conditioned garages for cars, so the Jaguar would be in the garage. Also, the Italian line's ships took the "southern sunny route" to New York, with outdoor pools, which can be seen in the shots from above, but neither the Andrea Doria or Cristoforo Columbo had indoor pools. |
