Nitpick Description

Submitted by Nitpicker : Hecubus
Series : Angel
Episode : Eternity
Nitpick Category : Other
Nitpick Number : 3475
Approximate time of nitpick : first 10-15 minutes
Summary : He shouldn't have been able to enter
Details : When the actress, Rebecca, is being attacked in her home by her 'stalker,' Angel bursts through a window and drives the man off. However, it has been established many times in the Angel/Buffy universe that vampires cannot enter a residence unless they are invited in. Rebecca was being attacked, and did not invite Angel to crash through her window, therefore, he should not have been able to enter.

Earlier in the episode when Rebecca visits Angels office she tells him that he will have to come over some time - not sure if thats exactly how it was phrased. So he is able to enter her house - the same thing happened with Cordys appartment earlier in the season - she told angel he would have to come and see the apartment - when he arrived he walked straight in.

Angel told the gang that since he was able to enter, obviously everyone involved was an actor and the real residents of the house were already dead. If the residents are dead and no one in the house actually lives there, Angel can waltz in as he pleases.

The episode where all were actors, and the house's owner had already dies was "Dear Boy" from season two. This is the episode where Angel sees Darla for the first time since she was resurrected by Wolfram and Hart. Darla was pretending to be a woman named DeEtta Cramer - and that she didn't know Angel.
