In the finale of Season 3, when Connor attacks Angel on the beach, he is able to gain the upper hand by using a stun gun. Each time he attacks Angel with it, Angel responds much the way a normal person would - each time, he collapses, groans as if in pain and is incapacitated for a moment. In this episode, Angel gets into a similar match of hand to hand combat with Gwen Raiden, a girl who is able to channel electricity through her body. In the scenes showcasing her powers earlier in the episode, it was shown that her power can be fatal to human beings and can melt metal objects like putty. Yet each time she tried to shock Angel, it seemed to have no effect on him whatsoever, not even a grimace. |
